The boys decided they wanted to be skeletons this year. I figured it would be easy enough but let me tell you, these costumes were a serious labor of love. I decided I'd hand stitch each of the bones to give them more character and it took forever. The boys could care less about this detail but I think it was definitely worth it.

Thank you, NamaS! I drew it myself. I did a google image search for an idea of what it should look like. Then I measured my little guys arms and legs and roughly sketched it out. Did you use felt for the bones? And what did you use to secure them onto the clothes? I'm thinking if I start now I can make this for next Halloween. It really is adorable.
I used eco-fi felt by Kunin (available at Joann's) - it's a great felt to use on kids' clothing since it's washable. To fuse the bones on, I used heat n bond fusible webbing.
