Home From London!

Tuesday, March 13, 2012
I got back from London this past Friday and now that I seem to have my jet lag in check (for the most part), I'm finally getting back to the blog. I had an absolute blast! It was so fun to experience my favorite city with one of my favorite friends. We easily ate our weight in food, enjoyed some great wine and beer, took in the beautiful sights, scored some amazing shopping finds, saw Wicked (why did it take me so long to see this? I'm convinced I need to see it at least 27 more times), walked 1,237 miles, visited Olympic Park (which was kind of a bust), and squeezed in a day trip to Cambridge to see a good family friend.

Exhausting and amazing.
Regular blogging will commence soon with some Easter tutorials and a super cute guest for What He Wore: Boy Style.

Thanks, Kara! And just in case you were wondering, I never did get those shoes "broken in." ;)

Seriously with these awesome photos?! Are you TRYING to make me green with jealousy? ;) Beautiful images, Gracie! I particularly love the one of the pub...well, because it is a PUB (!) but mainly because of the incredible beauty of the building, the greenery, the lights and gorgeous photo! So happy to have you back and I can't wait to hear all about it on Thursday. xoxo

Isn't the pub gorgeous, Laura? You should have seen the inside. We stumbled upon it after a long day trekking around so we had to stop in for a pint. Turns out it was the very pub where Winston Churchill addressed the nation during his wartime speeches. Very cool.

Seriously lady, what's your secret? Your colors pop so amazingly in every color photo I've ever seen...I can't for the life of me get colors like that! Those photos you took of that beautiful woman I saw on FB left me speechless!
Love the pub, (drool) love the color bridge shot with the gondola guy (drool) So glad you had fun...wish I could go get a cup of joe with you and see all your photos and talk the day away about your trip :)

I am glad you had fun! I must say, I am a little jealous. One day Chris and I will go to Europe, with or without kids. Your pictures are amazing, and I can't wait to hear more about your trip. Hope you are enjoying the week off with the boys. Say hi to Finley for Amie!
